A month of pics!

A month has flown by and we have been so busy that we have not had a chance to even post halloween pictures! We have a had a super fun and busy fall! We are enjoying Cole's emerging personality! He is on the go ALL THE TIME - walking all over the place and getting into whatever he is not supposed to touch! He delights us on a daily basis with his laughter and excitement for the world around him! He is very much like his Daddy - busy and very inquisitive! He wants to know how everything works! It is fun watching him explore his little world and figure out everything around him!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for our little boy and the joy and happiness he brings us each and every day! We are also thankful for family, friends, and good health! We are looking forward to a busy holiday season! We hope to see you all soon!

For now - enjoy these pictures of the events of the past month!

As you can see - climbing in and out of things is a favorite past time!

A visit to see Santa - not exactly a fun experience for Cole!

Busy Busy Busy!

October has flown by for us! We had a busy month of celebrating some big family birthdays and other fall activities! Lots of pictures below!

We have also been busy getting back into the work/school/daycare routine! Cole continues to have a blast with his friends at day care. He gets so excited in the morning before we get in the door and doesn't even notice when I leave. He's exhausted at night from all the playing he is doing. He's also been continuing to enjoy his weekly music class - both singing and EATING the instruments!

As for milestones - we are continuing with teething - I don't think it ever stops for this kid! He just cut one of his molars but is working on several other teeth and has a nasty diaper rash to go along with it! Poor guy! His eating habits are getting better although he is still a super picky eater - guess I'm getting paid back! He is starting to walk more and more independently - although if he needs to get somewhere quick he resorts to the good old crab crawl!

And today we received the BEST news - we no longer have to go see Dr. Niemark at Hasbro for his reflux!!! He still continues to spit up occasionally but it appear to be from not having anything in his stomach and drinking something too fast. Hopefully that will get better as time goes on! No more meds and no more trips to Hasbro - we are very thankful - they were amazing in the care they provided to us and let us know to call if anything arises at any time in the future!

Happy Halloween - pics to follow after the weekend!

Now here's all the pics!!!!

Singing in his microphone

We got to celebrate Aunt Gail's 65th birthday when the Long Island crew came for a visit last weekend. The boys had lots of fun playing with everyone!

Another fun birthday we got to celebrate this month was cousin Max's first birthday! Max was a wonderful birthday host and everyone seemed to have a blast - even a very overtired and teething Cole!

Go PATS!!!

One very special birthday we celebrated this month was Super Gram's 89th birthday! We had lots of fun with family! We love you Super Gram!!!

Cousin Mason playing - he's now an expert walker and waiting for Cole to catch him so they can create trouble together!

STATS

Just wanted to share a few pictures from this weekend and share Cole's stats from his one year appointment. He continues to be long and lean (on his way to fulfilling his Daddy's dreams of 6'4" and 220lbs.!!!). He currently weights 21 lbs (25th %) and 30.5 inches (75th %). We had a great visit with Dr. Peltz and Cole was very brave while getting his shots. He even showed everyone his "Chucky" face while there - I haven't captured it yet on film but we are working on it!

One Year!!!

WARNING - LONG UPDATE WITH LOTS OF PICTURES!!!

It has been a busy month for the Noyes Family! Cole celebrated his 1st birthday on September 20th but we celebrated with some family and friends on Saturday September 18th. Cole appeared to have a blast playing with his friends and family but was not a fan of being the center of attention (hmmm....wonder where he gets that from?). As Tom and I reflected on the day we were overwhelmed with all the family and friends who celebrated Cole but also who have helped us along the way every day as we began this journey into parenthood. We could not have done it without the love, support, advice, and encouragement from each and every one of you! We thank god for each and every one of you and the impact you have had on our lives and now on Cole's life! Thank you so much!

Some of the highlights from this past month or so:
  • A visit from Grammy and Grampy Keegan from Florida who came to celebrate Cole's 1st birthday
  • Cole's three new playmates - Nico Anacone, Kiernan Russo, and Laney Girard! I'm sure they will cause some trouble together
  • Cole's 1st plane ride to Annapolis, MD to celebrate Andi and Kip's wedding! Cole slept the whole way on both flights (much to Mommy's delight)! Thanks to Jennifer and Marcy who willingly chose to fly with Mommy and Cole on the flight down to Baltimore so Mommy didn't have to fly alone with Cole!
  • Cole took his first few steps on the day of his birthday party - his preferred method of movement though continues to be crawling
  • He has turned into quite the destructor these days - opening drawers and cabinets and emptying them as well as climbing on anything and everything.
  • He loves to "rough house" with his daddy and make train noises and scary/silly faces! It is adorable to watch as his face lights up when Daddy walks through the door at night!
  • Not sure if this was mentioned in my last post but Cole is FINALLY sleeping through the night - only took eleven months but it has been wonderful since Mommy is now back at work.
  • Last but not least - we appear to FINALLY be reflux free. We still have the occasional spit up here and there but for the most part it appears to be gone. We see the GI Dr. again on the 27th so hopefully that is the last of our visits and we can stop the medication. He is still a VERY picky eater but we are hoping that with time that will improve. Thank you for all of your prayers and encouragement over the last twelve months as we have tried to help Cole endure the pain and discomfort that accompanied the reflux.
Mommy with the NU crew at Andi's wedding - always a good time getting together with these ladies! A few more NU babies on the way - can't wait for their arrivals!

Kiernan Russo - she partied too hard at the wedding so she needed a snooze!

More excited about the cars on the cake than eating the cake - go figure!

My favorite boys - they light up my days!
